Thomas L Adams

November 28, 1932 — February 4, 2017

Born on an Indian reservation in Pocatello, Idaho, Tom had a traumatic childhood and turned to alcohol at a young age. When he was 17, on a dare and drunk, he followed a girl to get her number and found himself inside a church. It was there he accepted Jesus Christ in his life and was forever changed. Not long after, while attending an all-night prayer meeting, a young lady laid her head on his shoulder and fell asleep. Her name was Ann. They were soon married, attended Bible college, and for the next 60 years served side by side in the ministry.

In 1958, Tom began pastoring in Redondo Beach, pastored for five special years in Stockton, California, then returning to Redondo Beach he would complete his calling. As an anointed prophet of God, he ministered to countless people in churches, prisons, and nations. His life and ministry focused on a deep love and caring for others.

Tom had the ability to see people that most of us would overlook, or wouldn't think deserving of time or energy. He always had a couch or bed for someone to sleep on and a meal for anyone who needed it. It was evident he cared for others more than himself. Through this love, Tom touched the hearts and lives of everyone he encountered. He was one of the most real people you could ever meet. He was never fake or pretentious and always preached the truth of God even it it was unpopular. His strength, humility, and selfless nature endeared him to all.

He will always be remembered for his passion to fish, sense of humor, and playing with his grandkids. Whether teasing till they scream, bowling, winning at the "claw" or water gun games at the fair, the memories will last forever. His family is blessed to inherit a legacy of faith, honor, love and couldn't ask for anything more.

Tom went to be with Jesus, wife Ann, son Tommy and great-grandson Logan on February 4 2017. He is survived by his children Patty, Susan, Robby and Amy, ten grandchildren, and eight grea-grandchildren.
