Shirley Schaefer, 82, was born on June 17, 1942, in Vallejo, California, and passed away on January 13, 2025, in Vancouver, Washington.
She was a devoted mother to three children: Shanna, Robert, and her late daughter Heidi, who passed away in 1987. Shirley was a proud grandmother to Tatum and Maddox, and a great-grandmother to King and Reina.
Shirley graduated from Eisenhower High school in 1960 where she was crowned football Queen. After her children left the home, Shirley found joy working at Ford as a greeter in 1994.
Known for her heart of gold and infectious laugh, Shirley could light up any room she entered. Her kindness and storytelling left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She was deeply loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. Shirley may be gone, but she will never be forgotten.
