Patricia Jane Lahtinen-Niel

Patricia Jane Lahtinen Niel was born to Jack and Elizabeth Nelson on February 16th, 1955, in Exeter, California and passed away Tuesday evening, September 6, 2016. Jane grew up as a child in California , then relocated to Washington where she attended Pasco High School. She met and married Bill Lahtinen and had one child from this union,. In 1980 she married the love of her life, Everett Niel. Jane had many special interests and hobbies throughout the years including Powderpuff racing and cruising 4th Street in Pasco, to being the best cook/camping and hunting logistics coordinator. Jane was also an accomplished cook. Her skills in the kitchen will be dearly missed. Jane was many things to many different people. She was "Aunt Jane" to many! First and foremost she was a loving wife and mother who always put her family first. She faced life with the greatest sense of humor. "Jane" was preceded in death by her father, Jack Nelson. She is survived by her beloved mother, Elizabeth Nelson, her husband Everett Niel, of 36 years, one daughter, Jessica Lahtinen (Michael), sister, Gail (John) Keith, Rosemary Niel, Dianna (Dennis) Ealy, Danny Niel, numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved dogs, Ginger and Arlo. The family would like to give a special thank you to the infusion nurses at PeaceHealth Medical Hospital for their exceptional care and kindness. A private family service was held Friday, September 23. Jane was laid to rest next to her beloved father, Charles "Jack" Nelson.
