Our beloved Carita Serena Trimble was called home to the Lord on Wednesday, November 20. Carita will be greatly missed by all who knew her, for she was a most generous, giving, kind, and loving person. She was a proud 1992 graduate of Columbia River High School and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Carita enjoyed several interests, including golfing, baking, exercising, walking her dogs, traveling, and meeting celebrity chefs. With a wonderful sense of humor and mirth, Carita immensely enjoyed hosting her family and friends for celebrations, meals, game nights, and movie watching. A talented and impeccable decorator, Carita's home was always warm, cozy, and welcoming to all. She always thought of others and strived to make her family and friends feel comfortable and well-taken taken care of. Most of all, Carita deeply loved and protected her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Born on May 31, 1974 in Long Beach, CA, Carita was preceded in death by her daughter, Mia Beatley, her mother, H. Anne Ortiz, and her grandmother, Carmen G. Edwards. She is survived by her husband, Shane Beatley, her son Matthew Trimble and daughter-in-law Danielle Stinson, her daughter Sophia Trimble, son-in-law Tyler McJunkin, and grandchildren Oliver and Theo Henry McJunkin, and her daughters Marisa Beatley and Melena Beatley. She is also survived by her father, Armando A. Ortiz, her sister Amanda Ortiz, her brother Armando F. Ortiz, Jr., her sister Selena Ortiz, brother-in-law Gary Adler, Jr., and nephew Samuel Adler Ortiz. Carita was a deep source of light and love in our lives. Although we will forever mourn her passing, we take comfort in knowing that she is wrapped in Christ's love and that she is reunited with her daughter and mother in God's kingdom.
