Anthony Lee Renteria

Anthony Lee Renteria, 54, of Longview passed away Nov. 29, 2021, at St. John Medical Center.

He was born Jan. 2, 1967, in Barstow, Calif., and moved to Castle Rock in 1981, graduating with the class of 1985.

In July of 1991, he married Kim Marie Lencioni She preceded him in death in 1999.

Anthony served in the National Guard and worked in the automotive industry as a mechanic and sales representative. He was proud to be a certified Honda Master Mechanic. Anthony was employed by Bud Clary, Stirling Honda and U-Neek R.V.

He was a car enthusiast but also enjoyed playing golf and the bass guitar. His former bandmates in “The Generations” will hold a memorial fundraiser for the family, particulars will be announced at a later date. A private family gathering has been held.

Anthony was outgoing and the life of the party. He lived life to the fullest. He had a caring nature, smiled more often than not, and had the most infectious laugh. He will be dearly missed.

Anthony is survived by his children, Amberlee Renteria and Dylan Renteria, both of Longview; his mother, Johnnie Stakes of Wildomar, Calif.; Dylan’s mother, Melissa Saxon of Kelso; three brothers, Rick Renteria of Longview, Victor Renteria of Castle Rock, and Arnie Stakes in Illinois; two nieces, Marisa Dunham of Puyallup, Wash., and Joslyn Renteria of Anchorage, Alaska; two nephews, Joel Renteria and Justin Renteria, both of Longview; and his girlfriend, Vicky Hyland of Kelso.

In addition to his wife Kim, Anthony was preceded in death by his father, Richard Renteria in 2010; and his stepfather, Arnold Stakes in 2017.

Final arrangements have been entrusted to Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park.
